Today I found out that the series of Big Hero 6, which I previously explain to be under welling and the new format well do more harm with its unnecessary third season( that I doubt was actually interested its target audience). It has been cancelled by Disney.

Spoiler alert

Disney XD’s ‘Big Hero 6: The Series’ to End With Season 3 (msn.com)

In the msn.com article it explains that “Disney XD’s “Big Hero 6: The Series” will conclude with the currently airing third season, the network announced Thursday.

The final run of episodes will begin airing Monday, Feb. 1, with the series finale set to air on Feb. 15.

The finale, titled “Krei-oke Night / The Mascot Upshot,” will see Krei enlisting Big Hero 6 to help launch his latest invention, a karaoke machine, in the first half. The second half sees the mascots deciding to add a new member to their family, presenting Hiro with an opportunity to defeat them once and for all.”

It also announce the “ reason” for the sudden cancellation. “The decision to end the series comes on the heels of last year’s announcement that a new “Big Hero 6” spinoff series is in the works at Disney+. “Baymax!” will be among Disney Animation’s first-ever original series and is slated for a 2022 premiere.”

I find it odd to cancel a show with the only reason being they want a spin off. Now Spin off’s at a whole don’t necessarily begin when the main series ends with one the latest example big ‘ Casa Grande’ a spin off of ‘The loud House’ for Nickelodeon. We have seen a lot of shows the are interconnected even as a child I could tell that ‘My Little Pony friendship is magic’ with a different version of ‘My Little Pong G3’, which at first I wasn’t a fan of . On to the point it is clear for the lack of views, the different formatting and the fact the last season had the least amount of episodes ( even when one counts each separate episode as it own ‘19’ ) that a third season was a mistake and unnecessary as I mention before. Even if their are some good episodes the majority of them don’t have the action of the first two seasons, the high stakes or the comedy. Despite making the comedy more loony tune like and anime inspired, it falls short and it was to little and unnoticeable, especially to young children. On pervious article about the third season, they push to make it seems like this was the plan all along and they being the Executives and Big Hero 6 wanted this and the change is incredible for them, as mention in ‘cinemablend.com’ article.

How Big Hero 6 The Series’ Season 3 Format Opened The Door To K-Pop Guest Stars — CINEMABLEND

Big Hero 6 The Series is getting ready to debut its third season on Disney XD, and while fans are sure to be looking forward to the show’s unique blend of comedy and action, fans of K-Pop are probably equally excited as it has been revealed that the new season will include a pair of guest voices, Nichkhun Horvejkul of the band 2PM and Jae Park of the band DAY6, are both set to play characters in an upcoming episode of the show. Fans excited by this upcoming very special episode can thank the show’s new format, as well as one of the series’ writers. recently had a chance to talk with Bob Schooley, Mark McCorkle, and Nick Filippi, the producers of Big Hero 6 The Series, and I asked about the decision to shift from 22-minutes episodes in the previous two seasons, to Season 3’s plan to put two 11-minute episodes in each half-hour block. They were all very happy with the change, in part because it allowed the series to cover topics that might not be quite deep enough for 22 minutes. One of those was fulfilling the desire of one of the show’s writers, who has wanted to do an episode dedicated to K-Pop for some time. According to Bob Schooley…”

When I first read this it came off as reconstructing the entire series, too find in K-pop stars. This is already a bad mind set for writing for a season of a series, even if you want to do a parody episode, Tv series like ‘ok KO let’s be heroes’ do it with an interesting story and the guest stars constant interaction with the main stars is highlighted, in the K-pop episode it was not a special, they barely interacted with the main characters and all they do is sing and create they own reality the main characters only makes sure they are protected when they get involved with the villains, it is heavily implied that these characters are just their and nobody cares about they short lived super hero fantasy except for their fans, which does relate to reality but not every child is like that even if a few are or were K-pop fans in the first place not every child is going to be a fan of K-pop. This part also disturbed me “It seems this writer was such a big fan of K-Pop that she actually traveled to Japan at one point specifically to see a concert, which is a level of dedication I don’t have for any place that doesn’t include roller coasters. It seems that it didn’t take much convincing to actually get everybody else on board the idea of bringing K-Pop into Big Hero 6 The Series, but coming up with a story that didn’t wear thin over the course of 22-minutes was tougher. However, the Season 3 format of 11-minute episodes was perfect.”

The writer is said to be a big fan of K-pop yet she couldn’t write a proper story for them for 22 minutes, most fans even at a very young age could write novels of their characters meeting their favorite idols, yet this writer, made the K-pop idols seem shallow and weak, turn everyone into their fans, and showed that the heroes of the story do not care for them and wish they would quit because there’re annoying them while getting into really danger, it never felt like a fan had written that story cause a fan would care if they idols would look good. It just felt like they said they would doing it and gave a low effort work towards it.

Which in whole felt like the entire third season they had finish what they wanted to do, they couldn’t think of anything else so they just put low effort work in it, and they were lucky it got cancelled I’m happy it got cancelled, cause this is was is wrong with our society. We ask for something we love to go on longer cause was want to see more, we demand more and for a happy ending our way but, what they don’t realized is that their is a thing of to much, people wanting more can make something less, not just for people growing up but for people just living their lives, you don’t need to follow a character to the end of their lives or get answers to question you want to hear to be happy you can just appreciate what you got, for the good it has bring for the bad it brought and for the new that it will inspire. As for me I’ll say I’m glad they didn’t ruin the show for me, but that’s my opinion.
